Alissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Hannibal-LaGrange College. Her areas of expertise are in accounting and tax preparation for individuals and business entities, with emphasis in agriculture. She has over 30 years of experience in the accounting field. Alissa is certified as an enrolled agent to practice before the IRS, and is a member of the Missouri Society of CPAs and the National Association of Tax Professionals.

Cherie' Seipel, CPA

Cherie' received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Missouri - Columbia and has over 35 years of public accounting experience. Her areas of expertise include auditing nonprofit organizations, manufacturers, and construction contractors. Cherie is a member of the AICPA and the Missouri Society of CPAs where she serves on the Women's Initiatives Committee.

Heather Murphy, CPA

Heather joined the partnership in September 2014 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from College of the Ozarks. She has over 15 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in bookkeeping, payroll, tax, and consulting services to a wide variety of clients. Heather is a member of the American Institue of Certified Public Accountant's and the Missouri Society of CPAs.

Our History

Grimshaw & Associates, LLC, was established in November of 2005 and began with general accounting and tax preparation services for business and individuals, as well as compilation, review, and audit services for business and not for profit clients. This developed into strategic planning for individual wealth maintenance, minimization of tax liabilities for individuals and corporations, auditing and consulting services. We believe in "old school" principles, but we also believe in keeping up with the needs of individuals and businesses in this rapidly changing world.

Our Credentials

Our firm participates in the Peer Review program prescribed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Missouri Society of CPAs, and the Missouri State Board of Accountancy. Our firm is reviewed every three years and the resulting report stated that all of our accounting practices and procedures complied with or exceeded the standards of the industry.
